BILLY OWENS “The G.O.A.T.” 1988 CARLISLE HIGH STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Big Star & Raw Sports presents BIG STARS LOST TAPES featuring BILLY OWENS “The G.O.A.T.” and his 4th Straight PENNSYLVANIA State Championship Title with CARLISLE HIGH SCHOOL in his 1998 senior season. The game was hosted at the Hershey Arena (Hershey, PA) and featured CARLISLE vs PITTSBURGH CENTRAL CATHOLIC. Many have heard the legendary stories of Billy Owens in High School, and tons have argued if he is actually PA’s #1 or #2 best player of all time next to Wilt Chamberlain. Regarding his talents, none of the stories that you’ve heard would have done any justice. He was 100x better than any of the stories, now with BIG STARS LOST TAPES you can see for your self. Standing 6′ 9″, he was the first down court, played above the rim, shot a high percentage, and has been described as a high school version of “MAGIC JOHNSON”. Following high school he was a McDonalds All American and shared the MVP with Alonzo Mourning, attended Syracuse University, then had a career in the NBA. This footage is super rare because it’s possibly the only full game of Billy online, also it’s his last high school championship. Also, it’s fully commentated by local PA color commentary legend Dave Burman. Enjoy, and follow BIG STARS LOST TAPES on Social Media…
