“2 Da Rack” Vol. 1 (90’s Highlights) EDDIE GRIFFIN, MARQUES GREEN, DAJUAN WAGNER, JAMEER NELSON

“2 Da Rack” Volume 1 is a true gem for hoop junkies. This was actually the very first ever highlight reel that Big Star made while a student at West Chester University in 1998/99. Before MacBook’s, iMovie, and Final Cut Pro, Big Star was editing highlight reels on 2 VCR’s like a DJ, LOL! I would play the tapes in the VCR on the left and record the highlight clips on the VCR on the right using the “pause” button to chop the clips, and continuously tapping the pause button or holding it in order to do slow motion. That was the grind back then. This tape is packed with some tons of highlights of some of the games I captured when I got my first video camera. Tons of hoop legends and other stars are featured such as EDDIE GRIFFIN (R.I.P.), DAJUAN WAGNER, MARQUES GREEN, JOHN ALLEN, JAMEER NELSON, JERMAINE ROBINSON, TAI CRUTCHFIELD, ARTHUR BARCLAY, and tons more! Tons of footage was captured at the Donofrio Classic in the old building before it was renovated. Seeing those yellowish lights and the fold up chairs on the stage at the Fellowship House will definitely bring back memories. Other footage was from classic high school matchup’s between Marques Green & Jameer Nelson, AAU tournaments, and much more!
