Bishop McDevitt vs Eastern York “Basketball Season Opener” (12/6/13) “2 Crazy Dunks”

Once again it’s on….. This is what we’ve all been waiting for, “THE 2013-14 BASKETBALL SEASON”. Big Star & Raw Sports presents Bishop McDevitt (PA) vs Eastern York (PA) at the Central York Basketball Tournament (Season Opener). This game took place at Central York High School on 12/6/13. From the preview of the Bishop McDevitt team (and without yet seeing any of the AAA competition), Big Star feels that they are easily one of the most talented teams in the league, and in the state of PA. It was clear that the off season was good to several players on the roster. There were several “given’s” on the floor, including returning seniors “Dyllon Hudson Emery” (Dunks, Dunks, Dunks), “Justin McCarthur” (3’s, 3’s, 3’s), “Caleb Barwin” (a.k.a. Big Shot), and “Donte Vaughn” (a.k.a. The Hustler). Also, returning Junior and one of the best threats on the fast break, “Milik Gantz”. But there were to sleepers that Big Star was highly impressed. Sophomore James Williams, and Junior Mark Ray who both played JV last season. Mark was “Insane” from the 3 point line (demonstrating confidence & leadership), and James was in all the right places (finishing plays, blocking shots, rebounding). Also contributing were sophomore Nick Gemmell, and Susquehanna Township transfer Reggie Hopkins.
