COATESVILLE vs CHESTER 6A Quarterfinal (3/16/19) BRICKUS SETS RECORD!!!

There were hundreds of people who left upset because they were turned away from the small sold out gymnasium at Spring Ford HS, only to find out hours later that they had missed one of the most memorable, legendary high school playoff performances in PA’s history. COATESVILLE vs CHESTER was an amazing PIAA Class 6A Quarterfinal game that took place on 3/16/19. One of the most memorable performances of the night was from Class of 2020 5′ 9″ Floor General JHAMIR BRICKUS who has become the talk of the state (but these typer performances are nothing new). Brickus set a state playoff record by dropping 52 points in the win over a tough defensive Chester team. This is possibly the best state playoff performance since the tournament started in 1920. This was the most points scored by a Coatesville boys player in the playoffs since Hubie Marshall scored 50 points in a game vs Pottstown on February 23, 1963 (Dave Burman). This performance has solidified his name forever. Brickus was doing it from outside the arc, inside the paint, and everywhere else. He was unstoppable. Another legendary performance was the other half of this sibling duo, Dapree Bryant who nearly had a triple double, 22 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal. Chester star point guard Michael “Man-Man” Smith had a great game with 25 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and Akeem Taylor dropped 15 points, and 8 rebounds. Enjoy this game, and stay tuned and keep it locked with more exclusive coverage from Big star & Raw Sports.
