EDDIE GRIFFIN vs DAJUAN WAGNER (ROMAN CATHOLIC vs CAMDEN) 1/2/00

Big Star & Raw Sports presents another classic edition of BIG STARS LOST TAPES. This episode features ROMAN CATHOLIC vs CAMDEN HIGH SCHOOL. Roman Catholic featured the #1 player in his class and one of the greatest high school basketball players “OF ALL TIME”, EDDIE GRIFFIN. In 2007 Eddie would lose his life in a fatal car crash (RIP). Camden featured Dajuan Wagner who is also possibly the BEST PLAYER IN NEW JERSEY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HISTORY, also one of the greatest high school basketball players ever. His senior year he averaged 42pts and finished with 3,462 career points. Both players had great freshman careers in college before both being drafted into the NBA. Regardless of how their careers ended, Big Star & Raw Sports will never let the people forget where it all began and just how legendary both these players were, also how much they entertained and gave to the game of basketball. Big Star pays homage to EDDIE GRIFFIN & DAJUAN WAGNER “True Hoop Legends”!

Also, just an FYI… Big Star remembers watching Dajuan first hand, night after night at one of PA’s (or the countries) best post season high school tournaments, THE DONOFRIO CLASSIC (Conshohocken, PA). In this small standing room only gymnasium, Big Star witnessed time after time Dajuan pulling up 3’s from just about half court and knocking them down everytime, and his no look passes were comparable to none.
