KAREEM “RAB” TOWNES “Legends Week” One of Philly’s G.O.A.T.S (Averaged 41ppg at Southern HS) WOW!!

If you are a high school basketball historian, or know anything about hoop legends from the Philadelphia area, THIS IS MUST SEE TV!!! Definitely an interview that will be checked off Big Star’s Bucket List for sure. This episode of Off The Court “LEGENDS WEEK” featured one of Philly’s Greatest Basketball Players of All Time, KAREEM “RAB” TOWNES. Rab was a Legend at Southern HS averaging 41ppg in his senior season, and more than a legend to the South Philly community where he had a cult following. That accomplishment has never been done since then in the Philadelphia public league. He still holds the Big 5 and LaSalle University single game record with 52 points. Only Rab and Wilt Chamberlain in Philly high school history have scored over 50 plus in high school and a Division 1 college. During this classic interview Rab breaks down everything from growing up in South Philly and his humble beginnings as a “Crate Ball Legend”, making a name for himself at the “Best In The City”, destroying the best talent in the country and future NBA All Stars at the NIKE Camp, playing professionally, facing a hurdle which led to him doing around 8 1/2 years in Federal Prison, and much much more! His level of transparency and insight about life and the game are amazing. Enjoy this rare piece of hoop history presented exclusively by Big Star & Raw Sports Films. This is “LEGENDS WEEK”, where Everybody Has A Story!
