WELCOME HOME LONNIE WALKER IV (MIAMI vs LA SALLE 11/22/17)

11/22/17 Was a special day for the City of Reading, PA. Their son, brother, grandson, role model, and state champ would come home along with his University of Miami basketball family to play a game vs La Salle University. The game took place downtown at the Santander Arena, and the atmosphere reminded me of the 2016-17 high school hoop season, READING HIGH RED KNIGHTS FANS from the floor to the ceiling. You know that #LW4 was home when you heard the chants…. LONNIE WALKER, LONNIE WALKER, LONNIE WALKER. As soon as he got up off the bench to check in for the first time, the cheers were bone chilling, and his first point received the celebration of a playoff buzzer beater. It was evident that he means more to the city of Reading than a few buckets, or a state title. Lonnie Walker continues to give the city hope, and reminds all generations that it is possible for us all to come together for one common cause, in unity, and in love. Raw Sports was in the building, on the sideline as usual, and it was just like old times.
