6′ 9″ Guard CAM REDDISH Chooses The DUKE BLUE DEVILS

Well, the wait is over… Cam Reddish made the announcement at his 18th birthday party on Friday September 1, 2017 that he would be attending Duke University to play college basketball next year.  To some, this was a no brainer, but regardless, it’s always cool to experience the anticipation and butterflies leading up to a huge decisions such as this one.  If you don’t know Cam Reddish, this is why he’s one of the top high school basketball recruits going into the 2017-18 season….. he’s a 6′ 9″ guard who can pretty much do anything on the court.  He’s the floor general, he can pass, defend, has a deadly 3-pointer, mid range, can post up, block shots, run the fast break, break down the defense, great court vision, great IQ, highly coachable, and many other things.  2 highly impressive qualities are his ability to “remain calm” in any situation on the court (i’ve never seen him get rattled) also, his love for God.  If you ever have seen any of his social media posts that have read #TGBTG at the end, that stands for “To God Be The Glory”.  He always thanks the Man above for his many Blessings, which is one of the things that keeps him so grounded i’m sure.  Regarding his stature, Cam is just a “Freak”!!! It’s something to see when you have a 6′ 9″ kid warming up who you think is one of the big men, but when the game starts, the ball is tipped to him, and the show begins.

This past Summer Cam was busy on the Nike EYBL circuit with Team Final, then out of the country in places like Egypt playing for the USA team.  Each game he demonstrated why he’s the top guy, showing off in front of the world.

Regarding his college recruitment journey, the final 5 schools he was deciding on included DUKE, UCLA, UCONN, VILLANOVA, and KENTUCKY.  I’d love to watch Cam and Tre Duval play together next season, but odd’s are Tre has a crazy season and he’ll be off to the next level.  It’s going to be crazy watching Cam’s game continue to evolve at the college level, and really cool to see a kid from Norristown, PA representing on National TV.

Before college though, Cam has an entire senior high school hoop season that is slowly creeping over the horizon.  Cam plays for the Westtown School in West Chester, PA (private boarding school).  They play in the Friends League against school such as The Shipley School, Hun School, and other’s out of state.  This season is definitely going to be one to remember, and if you can make it out to the small gym it will definitely be worth the commute.  With the way things have gone, Cam appears to be a sure shot for the 2018 McDonalds All American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic, so keep those things on the calendar.  I’m sure it can be tons of pressure balancing a senior season with the college recruiting process, but Cam doesn’t have to worry about that now.  Nothing but hoop memories and entertaining all the hoop fanatics like myself.  Keep it locked with RawSports.tv as i plan to document as much of Cam’s senior season as i can.  I’m also working on an official Raw Sports Duke commit video to break down his college choice and other cool gems.  Stay Tuned!
