“MEEMERS” got busy at the A-GAME SUPER SHOOTOUT! NEW TEAM, SAME DREAM!

Over the years filming so many athletes has been a Blessing, but being able to finally share these experiences with my own children is Beyond a Blessing, Priceless! My little guy SHYHEIM STARLING aka “MEEMERS” is slowly making his progress and is enjoying every bit of the game. These clips were from the weekend of 3/26 – 3/27 at the A-Game Super Shootout (Spooky Nook Complex). Meemers is now playing with a new team called TEAM PENNSYLVANIA that’s a little closer to home (Previously played with TEAM FINAL RED). During this first outing with TEAM PA he demonstrated the ability to score the basketball by creating his own shot and moving without the ball and getting to his comfortable spots on the floor. He handled the ball well, but turned it over at times when the pressure was on or multiple defenders were in his path. Ball handling is always going to be a work in progress but he’s coming along. He continues enjoying passing the ball rather finding the guy leaking out on the break or driving and dishing in traffic. Defense is coming along and I saw a few glimpses of him being able to glue himself to his man causing a major disruption. He definitely needs to get quicker side to side and recovering once his guy get past him. He still loves blocking shots, especially the “chase down”, but has to learn how to do it without it resulting in a foul. In 2 games early fouls caused him to sit. Overall, it was a great weekend and I was just happy to see my little guy out there in the mix now playing at the highest level (Platinum Division) and holding his own.
