RASHEED WALLACE, one of the Goat’s of PHILADELPHIA’S basketball scene sat down for 2 & 1/2 hours with Big Star on LEGENDS WEEK for one of the best interviews of the series so far. Sheed set it off in the “10 RANDOM QUESTIONS” segment sharing things like local Philly players who inspired him, other sports he played growing up, some of his favorite Philly rappers of all time, recalling his first ever technical foul in the NBA, and much more! When he got into telling his story he took the viewers from his humble beginnings as a track and field lover who was introduced to basketball as a late bloomer. He laughed saying he had no skills, and all he knew how to do was “Run The Floor”. He talked about growing up, meeting hoop mentors who would work with him constantly until he started to come into his own, Simon Gratz memories and being pushed into the starting role as a freshman, Coach Ellerbee, Being the only player to EVER BE EJECTED FROM THE MCDONALDS ALL AMERICAN GAME, North Carolina memories, NBA stories, life after basketbal, his mom Ms. Jackie and much more! If you thought you knew Sheed, you have no idea. This brother is the real deal and he holds nothing back. One of the most impressive things about his character is his giving heart and dedication to being a humanitarian.
