Where do I begin with this kid. He’s football tough, and has the finesse and IQ of a player from the 80’s. He’s definitely a throwback player who is able to make the game simple and fill up the stat sheet without even breaking a sweat. He has a deadly mid-range pull up that reminds me of John Stockton, can play with his back to the basket and fade away like Kobe, and can heat up and shoot the rock from anywhere like Steph Curry. Those analogies may seem far fetched, but I’ve seen him get busy in all those ways before with my own eyes and he’s been pretty consistent. On the defensive end he’s a stopper and can get you extra possessions rather it be the passing lane or 94 feet pressure. He’s a good passer, good rebounder, and strong finisher in the paint. He’s also playing above the rim. Look to hear his name more and his stock rising over the Summer/Fall.
