c/o 2027 DOUG LAYER JR. is a DEFENSIVE NIGHMARE & COMPLETE SCORING MACHINE!! He attends Central York HS and already has a state championship under his belt. Clips in recruiting film are from Sideline Cancer (PA). Doug plays at a high level on both sides of the ball 94 feet. Defensively he is strong, has good timing, is aggressive, and can put himself in position to take the ball without fouling. He can pressure the ball consistently without running out of gas. Offensively he’s a good passer, shooter, good finisher with either hand, has a great dribble pull-up mid range shot, and he can hit the deep ball. He’s also a really good ball handler in traffic and creating his own shot or for others.
