This episode of “This Is My Story” features Jawon Chisolm who is a Harrisburg, PA native. He tells us his powerful life story that includes being gifted with athleticism in all sports at a young age, navigating being a behaviorally troubled youth, the trauma and life changing experience of being shot at only 15 years old, receiving a second chance to get on the football field, a interesting and stressful journey to receiving a D1 scholarship, getting to the NFL, and so much more! A powerful story of adversity, resilience, faith in God, and finding out that our true purpose in life sometimes isn’t what we think it is. Jawon is a special individual who is making an impact in his community, and soon the world.
