My guy JIZZLE (aka SHAKUR STARLING) is starting to get that “MAMBA MENTALITY”!! He DROPPED HIS FIRST 30 BALL in his SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP Middle school game. He’s currently in the 7th grade (class of 2027). Each week I see his confidence growing and his game developing. He’s a naturally athletic child and we have been working on basic skills and IQ since forever, but getting it to all translate to the game and building his confidence has been a task. He’s finally turning the corner and starting to believe in himself they way I believe in him. I told him before this game… “Just have fun and try to do some of those things we practice behind the scenes”. Also, reminded him to turn up from the start and don’t wait until the 2nd half to warm up. He went to a level I’ve not seen before but knew was inside. I was just waiting for him to unlock and unleash his INNER MAMBA. Today was a good day. I will cherish it forever!
