SHYHEIM “MEEMERS” STARLING is in 7th grade and he’s “THRIVING” on the high school Freshman team

A few months ago I shared a clip of my son Shyheim Starling trying out for the high school freshman team as a 7th grader. He made the team and at that time I was satisfied with that in itself. I had no idea how much he would play from game to game, but I knew he could easily play 2+ grades up. Since then what I’ve noticed is that this experience has put a battery in his back and he’s evolving into a different kid right before my eyes. The hunger, the IQ, his confidence, creativity, and his passion for the game is growing. He’s thriving in that environment and swimming in the deep end of the pool with the big dogs.
